Fear Not, Princess. This Time, I’ll Be the Boss Myself
Synopsis
【Game World Transmigration + Western Fantasy + Sword and Magic + Saving the Kingdom + Multiple Heroines + Story-Driven + Lord Building + Continental Conquest】
At first, the veteran warrior Nolan assumed it was just another routine death in the game. Then he realized he had been reborn—reborn into the game world in his own physical body. The good news was that he had spent twenty years immersed in honing himself in this world. The bad news was that, aside from his knowledge and passive abilities, his strength had regressed by twenty years.
Nolan laughed. So what if his level was gone? Boss templates, top-tier equipment, hidden quests, and the main storyline were all within his grasp. More importantly, at this point in time, the Elfin Kingdom he loved had not yet been destroyed, and Princess Flina, whom he cared for deeply, was still alive.
The calamity of a fallen kingdom? To hell with predetermined history. I will shape destiny with my own hands.
First, he would overturn the doomed Battle of Rosenberg and stop its fall. He would recruit the hero “Red Lion” before he ever suffered the loss of his daughter, as well as the “Harbinger of Calamity” before his fall into corruption, and use them to rebuild the legendary Black Armored Guard. Then he would take in the future living saint “Fervent Zeal,” cast out by the temple, and forge the strongest faith-based force—the Inquisition of the Cross.
Through cunning and force alike, he would rise to become a true power-holding lord of the kingdom, intervening decisively in its turmoil with overwhelming military strength, and forge with steel the princess’ dream of restoration.
This time, I will save every legend that lies ahead, tear apart the darkness shrouding the kingdom, and reverse the inevitable end. This time, there will be no cries of a fallen nation, only the rise of a continental hegemon.
【TL’s Note: The Harem tag was only added around Chapter 100 because that’s when the story’s direction becomes clear enough to warrant it. I’m not usually a fan of the harem genre myself—no offense to those who enjoy it—but I still found this novel genuinely enjoyable thanks to its deep lore, strong worldbuilding, and action-heavy plot. That said, for readers who do enjoy harem elements, the romance is definitely present. There’s some jealousy and tension between the heroines, but it never becomes overly frustrating or exhausting to read. Honestly, I think the author handled the “multiple heroines” aspect surprisingly well, striking a balance that makes the story enjoyable whether you normally like harem stories or not.】
