Synopsis

Qiū Lín transmigrates into the wildly popular superpowered fantasy manga《Uncharted》.

He's one of the comic's most infamous haters.

His combat power in online arguments is terrifying—his critique essays are packed with references and citations, and when debating fans, he can recite obscure plot details from memory.

Good news: He can probably predict future events and avoid every dangerous storyline before it happens.

Bad news: He accidentally transmigrates into a nameless, extremely unpopular cannon-fodder extra who appears for less than half an episode before dying.

...An old man.

Bad news ×2: This is a high-risk superpowered world. Fireballs are thrown by hand, street-destroying brawls are a daily occurrence, and whether murder or arson is illegal often seems open to interpretation.

Meanwhile, his own combat power is roughly 0.5 geese, and even a light jog leaves him gasping for breath and worried he'll throw out his back.

Old Man · Frail · Qiū Lín blacks out.

Fortunately, one month after transmigrating, his golden finger finally arrives:

A forum connected directly to the audience.

As long as he successfully appears in No Crossing, earns discussion and popularity from readers, and avoids placing in the bottom three of the forum's popularity polls, he'll be able to extend his lifespan.

Qiū Lín looks down at his body and attempts a salted-fish flip...

He fails.

He almost throws out his back again.

So he lies flat once more.

—He's already at retirement age. Hot-blooded adventures and flashy heroics are for the young. Following the original script and quietly enjoying his retirement doesn't sound too bad!

...Just kidding.

If he can struggle, he'll struggle.

While leisurely slacking off, Qiū Lín pokes a fallen enemy with a knife, drags the protagonist back from danger for reasons he doesn't fully understand, and suddenly realizes:

...Maybe this situation isn't beyond saving after all?

Who says old men can't fight?

Old men can be cool too!

As for somehow turning from an "old man" into a handsome young guy through literal rejuvenation...

Qiū Lín lets out an innocent whistle.

"Come on. Wasn't everyone a handsome young man once?"

【Can someone talk about that old geezer named Chi Fengye? Is he some kind of hidden boss character? Just how strong is he? Also, why does that chaotic, weathered face start looking oddly full of stories the longer I stare at it?】

【You scared me—I thought I was the only freak! I don't know why, but lately I've started thinking he's kind of handsome... I almost thought my standards had broken. AHHHHHH!】

【Damn it, why is young Old Man Ye actually so cool and handsome?! He's ridiculously strong! AHHHHHH MY HEART, PLEASE STOP BEATING SO FAST! I SWEAR I'M NOT FALLING FOR AN OLD MAN!!!】

【How can someone's old and young appearances look like two completely different people?! Rejuvenation? I'M IN. Sorry everyone, from today onward I'm no longer a power-scaling fan. I'm officially a Chi Fengye fangirl now. whistles

【\Brother Ye Number One!/\Brother Ye Number One!/\Brother Ye Number One!/ (cheering)!!!】

Yes...

The "I didn't like him at first" law may arrive late, but it never fails.

What do you think?
